We've learnt a fair bit about Bruce's childhood in the new 52. We know that the Wayne butler at the time of his birth was Jarvis Pennyworth. We know that Thomas and Martha Wayne attracted the ire of the Court of Owls, and that when Bruce was three, he, Martha, and Jarvis were in a car accident. Bruce's younger brother, Thomas Wayne Jr. was born prematurely and as far as Bruce knows, died twelve hours later. Not long after, Jarvis was killed by the Court in the Wayne Manor grounds while the Wayne's were on a trip. It was then that Alfred came to the Manor. About seven years later, when Bruce was ten, Thomas and Martha were murdered by Joe Chill. We don't know yet what's the real story behind Chill, but Bruce at the time suspected he might be an agent of the Court of Owls, and even tried to investigate them, but turned up no leads.
